Is Moriarty the Patriot related to Sherlock Holmes? [toggle section]

Yes, William James Moriarty is the arch-nemesis of Sherlock Holmes in
Moriarty the Patriot. They start out as enemies on a formal level, and
William is a professor of mathematics and crime consultant. William is
also the biological younger brother of Albert James Moriarty and the
adoptive brother of William & Louis James Moriarty. The two share a
close relationship and it was a twist on Conan Doyle's original Sherlock
Holmes series. The fandom even has a ship name for them, Sherliam!

Sherlock Holmes and William James Moriarty have a complicated
relationship. Moriarty is Sherlock's ex-arch nemesis and the only person
who is considered to be his equal. Moriarty is highly intelligent and
cunning, and has an interest in Sherlock that borders on obsession.
Though they are enemies on a formal level, they have made a vow to live
together and guide each other on their atonement. Moriarty has an
obsession with Sherlock, considering him the only one smart enough to
figure out his game, and while living as Irene Adler, they had a
relationship that lasted seven months. However, despite their
connections, Moriarty does not hesitate to try and kill Sherlock when he
loses interest, and even though his scheme was foiled in The Lost Cases
of Sherlock Holmes, Moriarty still managed to escape.

William Moriarty's real name is unknown, as he assumed the name of his
deceased adoptive brother William James Moriarty at a young age. He is
currently a professor for mathematics at a university in Durham.

Origin

Sherlock Holmes is based off the main character (of the same name) from
Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes novels. In those stories, Sherlock
Holmes is also an eccentric consulting detective who solves cases
together with his companion John H. Watson.

I Can't Watch The Show Anymore

I've written blog after blog of all the things I wanted to see next
Season, in high anticipation of things getting better. But recently, I
saw a small upload of the first 30 minutes of Equestria Girls. And...I
didn't like it. I don't even mean the whole human thing, I just mean
just the parts with them as ponies. Its just not that entertaining to me
anymore. The reason...Alicorn Princess Twilight Sparkle.

Now before you completly ignore this blog, let me explain. Yes, I know
that EVERYONE has dicussed this issue countless times. But theres other
reasons for me. You see, Twilight Sparkle was a very well written
character that struggles in various situations whether they reflect on
today's problems within individuals or just silly fictional problems.
Being a person who suffers from a form of Autism called Aspergers
Syndrome, I find that her social awkwardness to be very entertaining on
how not only they happen to her, but how she resolves it. Its very
empowering and great to see someone of whom I can relate to. Until now.

I could see
Twilight being much worse at magic than she used to be and not being
able to use a lot of her spells, but she still should've been able to
knock the door down with her mind. So the spell isn't just taking away
the cutie marks and passions, it's actually stripping you of your
abilities and knowledge. But that wasn't explained very well.
3. The part where Pinkie Pie gave away that some of the ponies wanted
their cutie marks back was lazy writing, and it makes Pinkie Pie look
bad. That's a trope that I've seen a lot in TV: there will be a
character who's hiding something from another character, and the writer
needs that character to find out about it, so they'll have a character
(usually the idiot comic relief character) literally just blurt it out.
And the writing tries to justify it by saying that they are literally
that stupid. We saw it before in Somepony to Watch Over Me. Scott
Sonneborn needed Applejack to find out that Apple Bloom left, so he made
Scootaloo accidentally blurt from her hiding spot that Apple Bloom had
left. It's lazy writing. Here, it also offends me because it's saying
that Pinkie Pie is literally so stupid that she can't tell that she's
supposed to protect innocent people by hiding things from the people who
want to hurt them. It's extreme stupidity. The thought that other people
were trusting her did not even occur to her when she did that. How would
you feel if instead of Tirek finding out about Twilight from Discord,
Twilight told her friends about the Princesses' plan and then Tirek
found them and Pinkie Pie just blurted it out? That's what this is.

5. Speaking of symbolism, I thought it was cool the Rod Of Sameness
looked like an equal sign. But then it turned out that the rod wasn't
real, so why did it just happen to look like that? I'm sure that Scott
Sonneborn was the one who designed it.

6. Why did Twilight and the others take so long to getting around to
asking how you could even remove a pony's cutie mark. That should be
impossible, so it should've shocked them and made them ask that
immediately. It's not realistic that they wouldn't ask that instantly,
let alone, for so long. If I were them that would be the first thing I
would've asked.

7. I don't like the name "Starlight Glimmer". It is also ham-fisted, and
it sounds like something Hasbro came up with, and I think that the
writers could've come up with a better name. I also keep getting
confused and typing out "Sunset Shimmer".

8. When the townspeople are hitting the glass to get their cutie marks,
it won't break, but throwing a stick into it is enough to break it?

9. When Sunset Glimmer said "I created harmony!" and "I gave these
ponies REAL friendships!", I thought Twilight was going to really mad at
that because the first statement is blasphemous, and the second
statement is telling Twilight that everything she's been through isn't
real, doesn't count, and is inferior. I thought those would've been cool
moments, but she didn't respond to it for some reason. Those were missed
opportunities.

Ok, so I've been looking at some brony things and whatever but what
stood out to me the most is that people are labeling bronies as
autistic. This really disturbs me. What's wrong with autism? I've found
several threads saying things like "the bronies were acting truly
autistic" and saying that all bronies have autism and are mentally
challenged. This is so disappointing. It's really hard to hear that when
your on the spectrum. Not all bronies have autism and if you do have it,
good for you. It's really not bad I actually consider it something great
to have. I've seen a couple images saying that watching mlp is a form of
autism and that's really hurtful -___- I would truly like to give these
people a punch in the guts... D:<

Who are your heroes?

Hey guys! I'm back with another blog. This time I'm curious...Who are
your heroes? On this blog you can choose four heroes. Two fictional, and
two real.

For my fictional, I definitely have to go with Captain America, along
with Sora. As for my real, that goes to my parents. I wouldn't be where
I am now in life if it weren't for them. I was very lucky to have them.

Amon Theory: The Second Avatar

Amon is the central antagonist in The Legend of Korra, and is the leader
of the anti-bending group known as the Equalists who aim to rid the
world of benders.

I've placed the references for my theory below the theory itself. I hope

Hey, wait a minute!

anyone noticed that in Day of Black Sun P.1 that Aang says his 7th
chakra is blocked even though he was shot in the back? And that in
Sozin's Comet P.4 Aang regained control of the Avatar State AFTER his
BACK hit the side of the rock pillar? Is this just misconception, of is
something else going on????

Avatar Wiki Fanon Awards

Fanon Awards news update.]]In the light of my recent inactivity, the
fanon awards have been put on hold until my return. Well I have
returned, and I wish to schedule an IRC Meeting for the morning of
Sunday the 1st of May, at eight o'clock, Australian Eastern Standard
time for Fanon Award Council Members.

Unfortunately, I do not know each of your own timezones, or how to
